A Study on Dynamical Biblical Education through Bibliodrama

Abstract
The biblical education of today has various problems. The some representative problems of them are a cramming method of studying doctrines, a studying method focused on the teacher, and an absence of theological interpretation for the Bible and psychological approach to the Bible. These problems result in the loss of dynamical quality of biblical education, and in the problem of the biblical education not to be linked to the practical religious belief. Therefore, it is necessary to present bibliodrama as a solution, also the aim of this study, to supplement the problems of biblical education. The education values and qualities of bibliodrama are as follows. Frist, it is a dynamical, experiencing education in which participants join by whole-body. Second, it is an improvisatory education which evokes creativity and spontaneity. Thirdly, it is an education of integrating various fields such as music, painting, therapy, theater, literature befitting for the changing times. Fourthly, it is an education of helping individuals to cure psychological disorder, and to grow religious understanding and belief. Fifth, it is an education for improving community spirit by interaction. And also, this study is to confirm the educational value of bibliodrama through the various cases and examples, and to examine out the versatile application of bibliodrama in the Korean Churches.
